GLAM - is an acronym for Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums. GLAM provide the bedrock for our verifiable information. The original books and manuscripts provide us with the citations that we require. Our illustrations should include information on the location of the original material. However, the fruitful cooperation with GLAMs need structured, institutional approach. Many Wikimedia chapters are already engaged in various GLAM initiavies and sometimes share their experience. Wikimania provides the perfect atmosphere for an informal meetup of people engaged in cooperation with GLAMS.
