I'm Gill Hamilton the Digital Access Manager at National Library of Scotland. I'm a librarian and working to improve access to information and knowledge for all.
National Library of Scotland in partnership with Wikimedia UK hosts Ally Crockford our Wikimedian-in-Residence. Ally has been in post for a year and has done fantastic work to raise awareness of Wikimedia and its projects, host edit-athons and train staff and others from GLAM and educational organisations. Ally has also been instrumental in influencing the Library to develop a policy on open licensing of its resources that has enabled the initial release of Library content on to WikiCommons.
