On the occasion of Wikimania being in London we'd like to invite all interested Wikimaniacs and net politics activists to the first ever NetPoliticsBeerLondon (#npbldn).

A NetPoliticsBeerX (#npbX) is an informal meetup of people involved or interested in the different fields of internet politics and activism (e.g. copyright, privacy, open data, net neutrality, etc.)

Fun topical topics can include:

  • Crowd-sourcing advocacy - are we delirious?
  • Net Neutrality on both sides of the big pond
  • The Google Spain Case a.k.a. "The Right to be Forgotten"
  • The new European Commission's possible love affair with copyright reform
