The abstract was well written and understandable. This presentation may need to be longer to educate editors to the joys of Lua. Geraldshields11 (talk) 03:27, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
- You may have a point there. Programming in Lua could take up an entire conference by itself, I am sure. It depends on what we want the presentation to be about, really. With half an hour I could go over the main points of Scribunto and whet people's appetites, and with an hour I could get more into the nuts and bolts of Lua coding. But even then, I would still have to brush over a lot of things. Also, if I was presenting for a longer time I would want to make things more interactive, and perhaps get the attendees to write a simple program. But then again, that is what the hackathon is for. Deciding how to integrate this with the hackathon will be key, I think. — Mr. Stradivarius on tour ♪ talk ♪ 15:00, 27 February 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks. So, this is a high level intro to Lua. Geraldshields11 (talk) 18:56, 15 April 2014 (UTC)
