About meI am a Fashion Blogger, I love writing about arts and fashion. I participated in various projects in Bombay, Dubai, Calcutta, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand and the likes. I was raised in a family where my father was a doctor and my family believed in public service - my father taught me it is our job to try and make the world a better place to live in. I studied English Literature and Journalism because I thought the most important thing I could so in my life was honestly write about people's issues. In 2004, I started writing features for The Telegraph, and latter contributed to various other publications. I incidentally, got many fashion assignments and started covering fashion weeks in India and Dubai extensively for various publications. Wikipedia's mission of sharing knowledge to all, drew me closer and more so when I covered Wikimania in Hong Kong. I have started exploring various nations, I wish to know about all human beings and their culture that exists in this world. I can read simple text in Bangla and French, slowly and imperfectly, but I am only fluent in English. I can speak in Bangla and Hindi, but I very much appreciate when people are able to correspond with me in English. |
My workAs a Fashion Blogger and Copy Editor/Journalist, I have written about fashion designers, and how they express their mind through their beautiful creations that is sashayed in the runaways of major fashion weeks. |
