Hello world!

My name is Michele Lavazza and I'm from Milan, Italy (M.L. Watts is an arbitrary anglicisation of my name). I'm mainly active on the Italian Wikipedia, but I also contribute to Commons and I sometimes edit en.wikipedia, fr.wikipedia etc.

I study philosophy at the University of Milan. My other main interest (totally unrelated to the first) is aviation. Most of my work on Wikipedia has to do with one of these two fields, but I also like writing about other miscellaneous stuff, if I have sources! My main concern as far as the Wikimania movement is concerned is creating free content – writing Wikipedia articles (and especially detailed, well-sourced, neutral articles), uploading pictures, etc.; however I'm getting more and more involved in off-line activities with Wikimedia Italia (for example Esino Lario for Wikimania 2016).

This will be the first Wikimania I attend (I'll be there thanks to a WMIT scholarship). I look forward to seeing y'all in London!
