OER?

Please look here, for discussion on Future of Education Workshop where was suggested that OER would be significant part of this fringe event.

What do people involved in planning this think?Leutha (talk) 16:48, 11 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OER is about education, This track is about academia/research. -Ed
Yes; while there is overlap here (as between all the hackathons/themes); OER sits better in the Future of Education. - Lawsonstu (talk) 18:30, 13 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Rename?

Is "scholarship" the best name for this? Some people, e.g. some non-native English speakers might think this is about giving money out. We had a discussion here about involving Citizen science in this? Fabian Tompsett (WMUK) (talk) 13:23, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

There were many long conversations about the name, and there is no perfect one so we settled on this as the one as the least-worst option. I think the content of it will be clear enough from the article. And yes citizen science is definitely included in this! - Lawsonstu (talk) 15:16, 9 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Twitter hashtag

Hullo - is there an existing Twitter hashtag to use with Wikipedia Open Scholarship? Can't find one via Google. Suggest #WikiScholr Claire 75 (talk) 16:02, 18 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, no there isn't one yet, your suggestion seems fine. - Lawsonstu (talk) 07:22, 19 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
