GLAM is an acronym for Galleries, Libraries, Archives and Museums. Wikimedia has been developing relations with GLAMs for several years. GLAM Outreach enables us to increase our access to quality offline reliable sources, to get some great images to illustrate articles with, and to collaborate with experts such as museum curators. Wikimedia's GLAM outreach was started in London by Liam Whyatt and is a big part of this Wikimania - including a whole thread of the main program.
